I have an 88 mustang 5.0 and really want this bassani catback exhaust sytem with side exiting pipes infront of the rear tires. I know its a "catback" so technically legal....but what about the pre rear tire tailpipes? Ive heard stuff about he fumes coming in the car making it illegal and some other shenanigans...I need the truth!!! Thanks.
I want a nice loud grumble, like a muscle car sound
Magnaflow Axleback
SLP Powerflo
Pypes 409
Borla Axleback
Bassani
Flowmaster American Thunder
I have a Procharger supercharger installed and a Bassani Exhaust and I am looking for the next step up for horsepower and sound. What would be the best brand and version of headers to get? Dynatech, Hooker, Hedman, etc...?
My truck (93 ford bronco) passes smog fine. however, i think i skrewed myself over by redoing the entire exhaust system. I love the exhaust now, however i am worried the truck will not pass the visual inspection because of the aftermarket cat and bassani y pipe.
Can i find a 50-state legal cat and weld it on? or will the state referees be up in my business because its illegal to take off a working cat (the new aftermarket one i put on)
This isnt a problem till next november, so maybe the laws will change, but i need to get ready to smog it before i run out of money
Please help me!! I have an 04 mustang gt automatic, I got it not too long ago its completely stock and I wanna make it louder..I want to go with a cat back exhaust..I want something that doesnt sound crappy like all the ricer cars I want a nice loud mean roar..please help me out..I cant get a no cat h or x pipe because it wont pass inspection..but what cat back is the most loud and mean? i own a 2007 shelby and i just bought some bassani long tubes and i want to know if i could still install my cats in the exhaust somewhere... i have a bassani x pipe, bassani catback mufflers
Hey, I got this mustang and it has some kind of exhaust (most likely stock). and it's loud when it hits like 3000 rpm but anyways, I dont know what is it and it's definately not a flowmaster, or slp, bassani, etc. It's driving me crazy so i wanna install some real exhaust system.
My question is, is it easy to install this and how much are we talking?
k so im thinking about getting a Bassani SS Axle-back( $569.95) or a
Bassani SS Street Race Axle-back ($499.95) which should i get? i will also be getting Bassani Long tube headers, and Bassani SS Catalytic X-Pipe to go with one of these axle-backs so help me with my head pounding decision.
Right now im thinking about getting a full Bassani SS Exhaust system [ Bassani SS Axle-back, Bassani SS Catalytic X-Pipe,and Bassani Longtube Headers], i got a quick glimpse on what the SS axle-back will sound like and i like it, but i might be looking for more does anybody have any idea what kind of exaust setup i should get? im looking for something with a deep aggressive sound to them something to get my blood pumping everytime i step on the gas and that will bring some attention to other ppl when i drive by?
I want the one the high flow cats, not the off road one, but i did notice that it comes in aluminum and stainless steel, are they different prices because of the materials or does also affect performance too???
2003 Mustang, what would be the loudest, legal exaust?
Borla, Pypes, Magnaflow,Flowmaster, or Bassani?
im looking for the loudest...
Ive heard of the SCT Livewire, Sniper Forces, SCT Flash tuner, and Diablo Predator flash tuner. Which of these is the best one?
So far i have stainless bassani exhaust all the way through, bassani ceramic headers, catted x-pipe, and catback. I also have a JLT true-cold air intake. Planning on getting a bigger throttle body and new upper plenum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a '04 Mustang GT convert., 4.6L SOHC. I looking to update my exhaust. I want a very agressive, muscle car sound. I'm think of putting a Bassani O/R X-Pipe and Flowmaster CAT backs. I'll do headers at another time since the labor involved is rediculious. Does anyone have a better combo than the one I'm thinking of?
I want a deep muscle car sound.
I got a bassani exhaust and they offer a aluminized steel and a stainless steel version of it, and I want to know what kind I have, I know a magnet sticks to steel but not to stainless steel but I have no idea about aluminized steel since I know that magnets don't stick to aluminum.
Ok, I have a 2003 Cobra and I want to put a new exhaust system on it to make it sound more "aggressive", but I don't want to overdo it. Also, I'd like to add just a little bit of horsepower as well.
Can you tell me which exhaust would you choose and why? Here are some aftermarket exhausts below. Tell me what you think and if I didn't name one of your favorites you can put that one in your answer as well. Again, what's the best bang for my buck and what's great in performance, sound and quality? Elaborate please.
1. Bassani X pipe
2. Borla Cat-back with Stingers
3. SLP Loudmouths
I want to Put Borla Stinger catback exhaust and a catted Bassani X-Pipe. I need to find good long tube headers that will work with this set up.
How do you think the ground clearance will be with the long tube headers?
well i have an 01 jeep grand cherokee laredo and i've been doing some research on air intakes and exhausts..i'm not very educated on exhaust systems so i've been looking at flowmaster 50 series delta flow, magnaflow, and bassani systems..and as for the intake i'm pretty sure i'm gonna stick with the k&n...i was wondering if you HAVE to get a cat back system for the exhaust systems...and which ones would you reccomend for the jeep (prices would be nice) and what exactly is a cat back system?
I am going to have it Dyno Tuned and the closest guess will win a smile!
I got a really nice setup to put on my 02 mustang gt i want the bassani x pipe with borla stingers muffler. i calld borla and they will not let me purchase the mufflers only i have to purchase the whole dang exhaust system. does anyone know where i can find only the stinger mufflers so i can put them on with bassani x pipe i checked out ebay i couldnt find jack. let me know somethin please! thanks!
I have a 1988 mustang GT 5.0 and I'm thinking about putting a Bassani catback exhaust kit with Bassani long tube headers. But I need to know, whats better to put on it with the catback and the long tubes, an X-pipe or a H-pipe. Why should i go with it. Thank You
whats a pretty fast time for a 1998 mustang gt with bassani exhaust, headers, k and n airfilter and cold air intake and 25 shot of nitrous
hooker exhaust headers with crossover x-pipe to the flowmaster or full length bbk headers w/ bassani x-pipe to the flowmaster? having a hard time deciding? i'm also thinking of slp loudmouth and mac prochamber w/ bbk full length headers?
what do u think?
oh and it's also a 2004 ford mustang mach 1.
my mustang is stock right now with dual exhausts......i have flow master super 40 series mufflers wielded onto my stock gt takeoffs.....i want my car to be VERY loud!!! as loud as possible..like a cobra or something...i want people to hear me coming.!!... do you think a good setup would be MAC LT headers, MAC shorty off-road H pipe running to bassani cat back!!!.....ive heard clips of bassani on you tube and stuff like that and it sounds terrible....my friend had a bassani setup on his v6 mustang and his sounded very loud and deep!!!......dose anyone have suggestions about this or should i stick with the flowmaster!??? thank you for all your help
Whats with civic drivers thinking they drive a porsche because they intake and exhaust and some big rims? I drive a 2003 Ford Lightning with 12psi of boost, chipped, bassani exhaust and it makes about 440hp. I was coming back from work today when i guy in his 20's with a civic starts pacing me on the highway. I gave it a bit of gas so he could hear it wind up a bit and give him a clue but he seriously wanted to race. its not even worth the gas. And its not only civics but neons, preludes, integras, and so on. I know my trucks not the fastest thing out there but i feel like a boxer knocking out a retarded kid with these tuner cars. Anyone else have these honda cars where they live?
did the questions about the baby even seem legit 'ferret'? i dont have a baby you homo or a T/A
Looking to hear from folks who particulary have the Bassani catted x-pipe and axlebacks
